Membership

Membership is open to anyone born in Scotland or of lineal descent, and anyone with an interest in Scotland or of things Scottish.  Founded in 1890 we provide companionship and social contact with our members by organising events of a Scottish or general nature.   We have a varied programme of activities throughout the year.

As a member, you will receive an annual syllabus listing the Officers and Committee, and a concise list of events for the year.  You will also receive, by post or email as preferred, a newsletter every two months, giving reports of recent events and further details of forthcoming activities.

There is separate membership for the Dance Class, and for which there is no annual fee.

Subscriptions

There is no joining fee.   There is an annual subscription, which is determined annually at the AGM.  It was £15 per year, but for 2024-25 has been reduced to £5 consequent to the changes to the Association agreed at the 2024 AGM.
